In these tough economic times CAPPS members are working to help others in need.  On a monthly basis we collect donations of pet food to be distributed to a pre-designated recipient of our choosing or to be delivered to the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York If you would like to help, please contact us.  We will gladly send someone in your area to pick up your donations of unopened dry and canned dog, cat and small animal food.  We also accept donations of pet treats and cat litter.

Established in 1999 by Marianne Castiglia of Feathers n' Paws Pet Sitting, Capital Area Professional Pet Sitters (CAPPS) is a network of professional pet sitters who provide in-your-home pet care to clients residing in the Capital Region area of Upstate New York. Our mission is to ensure that your pets receive the highest quality care while you are away.

CAPPS continues to improve and grow thanks to the support and encouragement of its members. We require a minimum attendance at our monthly meetings and encourage our members to be active in their communities.

Although we have a lot in common, each business is independently owned and operated. CAPPS is not responsible for the policies or business practices of its members. Charges and service areas will vary by member.
